| North American Harvard |
| The Harvard, a Royal Canadian Air Force version
of North American’s AT-6, first made its appearance
during World War Two. It subsequently became one of
the most widely used basic trainers ever built.
Thousands of pilots, from BCATP days on, received
instruction on the machines. It was phased out of
the RCAF in the mid ‘60s; however, many have been
purchased by private individuals and remain flying
today. |
