| DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver |
| The Beaver has become an icon of the Canadian
north due to it’s sturdy construction and
flexibility with respect to its load carrying
capabilities. It can be fitted with skis or floats
as well as wheels and operated from unimproved
fields, tundra (with over-sized tyres), snow and
water. It’s popularity is well known and it has been
sold around the world in both civilian and military
variants. This particular model is taking off from
one of the many fiords that characterize British
Columbia’s rugged coastline. |
